SATC the movie: my favourite looks

Watched sex and the city: the movie the other day. and even though it is soooo long, i still love it. and all because of the outfits in the movie. the gorgeous outfits carry the story and the movie, which makes me wanna see it again and again - even though it's like 3 hours long.
81 looks! 81 outfits! 81 changes! 81 - that's how many different outfits carrie wear in the movie. it's crazy and wonderfully beautiful on the same time.
i really adore patricia field, she looks kinda crazy, but she's the genius behind the breath-taking outfits.
and with that said, here are my carrie favourites:


i love the creamy color in this look. the jacket is so cute, looks like little roses.
it's very feminine with the little skirt. the fabulous bag i believe is from louis vuitton and the AMAZING shoes are dior! i love the shoes, they bring the outfit home. GIMME GIMME GIMME THOE SHOES!
anyways, i would SO wears this outfit :)


this outfit is soooo.... high fashion. which suits perfect since she is giong to a fashion show. i love the big ball of a skirt, it's so funny and different, AND it fits the snow'ey weather. the fur thing is very cute, and the outfit is perfect with the ancle boots, gloves and the clutch bag, that looks like it's gucci.
i doubt i would find a skirt like that one, and even if i did, i don't think i have the guts to wear it. sorry, love the outfit though.


this outfit is very special, because of the blue and the red color. i have not seen carrie in something like this before, but i really love it. i'm SO feeling the knee-high socks with the high-heeled godess shoes from dior. yum! and top of this lovelyness we see a bright blue t'shirt with print. and that's like, SO me. the look is beautiful topped with a grey statement coat. and take time to notice that she's carrying to bags, a big one and a little chanel. nice little, different detail :)
this is a look, with high socks and t'shirts with print, is something i wear all the time at the moment.


here we also see the knee-high socks, how wonderful. it really completes this look.
notice that she's actually wearing a dress, she just took a plain t'shirt over it- a nice way to make a fancy dress a everyday outfit. and the mixing with the special pattern in the dress and the stripes in the t'shirt is just - LOVELY. and then to wrap it up, she's wearing over-size cardigan and gloves, to make it more casual. so perfekt, so casual. i just love it. the boots, by the way are to die for :)
